Posted on MySpace, the now-defunct social media platform, as well as at some other less notable platforms, Tom had shared some his noughties' naughty, way before he became famous.
For obvious reasons, the photos quickly go viral in pretty much all media outlet and social media platforms.
Just like how people normally would do with a camera phone, Tom snapped a lot of selfies, in his daily activities.
What's certain, the actor loved not wearing shirts on.
At first, Tom Hardy remained surprisingly silent.
But later, he made a comment about it, saying that he has "no shame" about the photos.
"I've got no shame about my MySpace photos, especially the one of me in my underpants which is a glorious photo of a man in his natural habitat. In my tighty-whitey budgie smugglers," Tom said.
"In America, the say 'you should be ashamed of this' but I'm actually not remotely ashamed – that is me in my natural habitat, thank you. I might not be an Adonis, but I like to think of myself as an Adonis in that photo."
