Bitcoin and blockchain technologies have made "decentralize" a more popular term than ever. The two technologies have helped shaped the platform, where no one has the control of the system.
The two have the potential that can still outshine their future developments, through its concept of keeping data and transactions away from any controlling body, entity, person or company. What this means, once a data is recorded, it will stay there, or as long as the network of computers that make the blockchain, exists.
And Bitcoin that was introduced in 2009, has become the most popular cryptocurrency.
With that, it seems that its hype has no end.
Most notably after Tesla announced that it bought $1.5 billion worth of the cryptocurrency, things go north for the cryptocurrency with prices breaking records after records.
This time, BitPay is trying to use the hype by bringing the cryptocurrency to Apple.

In a blog post, BitPay wrote that:
BitPay claims to be the world's biggest cryptocurrency payment service provider.
And here, it has announced that its PrePaid Mastercard can be added to Apple Wallet for easy spending on stores and online through Apple Pay.
What this means, Apple Pay users looking to cash out their Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, BitPay just made it whole lot easier.
At this time, BitPay users using Apple Pay can transact using Bitcoin, Ether, Bitcoin Cash, USD Coin, Gemini Dollar, Paxos Standard and Binance USD.
With the card and its Apple Pay integration, users can instantly convert their cryptocurrency into fiat, which can then be used to pay for anything anywhere that Mastercard debit cards are accepted.
According to BitPay CEO Stephen Pair:
“Adding Apple Pay and soon Google and Samsung Pay makes it easy and convenient to use the BitPay Card in more places from day-to-day items to luxury purchases.”
The news should certainly appeal people who work and frequently transact with cryptocurrencies.
This integration has been made available starting BitPay app version 12.1.0.
