OnlyFans is a social media platform based in London, England. Through it, users can upload any kind of contents, including photos, creative writings, videos and so forth. OnlyFans users include physical fitness experts, musicians and others.
But what it's most famous for, is being the platform for sex workers and porn performers.
In other words, the subscription-based site is best known for its adult content.
And this time, Sami Sheen, the eldest daughter of actor Charlie Sheen and his ex-wife Denise Richards, is joining the platform.
Sami who just turned 18 years old in March, announced this on Instagram.
And following this, Charlie and Denise found themselves embroiled in a public debate over Sami's decision.
The debate started when Denise showed her support, writing on the comments section, that "I will always support you & always have your back. I love you."
While Sami received her mother's approval, her father, Charlie, wasn't so pleased with the idea.
Responding to his daughter's announcement, Charlie had a completely different opinion.
"I do not condone this,” Charlie said in a statement the day after Sami’s announcement. "But since I’m unable to prevent it, I urged her to keep it classy, creative and not sacrifice her integrity."
The actor went on to claim that the account was created while Sami was staying at Denise’s home, telling that Sami "is 18 years old now and living with her mother, this did not occur under my roof.”
Quickly, Denise responded to Charlie's statement, saying that Sami’s decision had nothing to do with where she lives, adding that “all I can do as a parent is guide her and trust her judgment, but she makes her own choices."
In a lengthy statement, she also said that neither she nor Charlie is in a position to judge their daughter’s decisions.
"I have to say, I wish I had the confidence my 18 yr old daughter has," she wrote last Saturday. "I also can’t be judgemental of her choices."
She also made reference to Charlie’s history in the public eye.
"I did Wild Things & Playboy, quite frankly her father shouldn’t be [judgmental] either," she said.
Later, like daughter, like mother - Denise also joined OnlyFans.
"I’m sorry, but shit if I can get paid and at my age? To see me in a bikini?!? God bless you. Perhaps I should open my own account," Denise said, before opening her account on OnlyFans.
Staying true to her words, Denise announced the launch of her very own OnlyFans account, teasing people with some new pictures on Instagram.
"Ready…here we go," she wrote, sharing her debut. "#onlyfans Link in bio."
Charlie and Denise were married for three years before Denise filed a divorce, which was finalized in 2006.
In addition to Sami, the two share a 17-year-old daughter, Lola.
Sami was seen lingerie shopping at Victoria's Secret, days after she received support from her father.
Charlie had a change of heart because of Denise, who is supportive of their daughter's decision.
"Denise has illuminated a variety of salient points, that in my haste, I overlooked and dismissed," Charlie said.
"Now more than ever, it’s essential that Sami have a united parental front to rely upon, as she embarks on this new adventure. From this moment forward, she’ll have it abundantly."
"All I can do as a parent is guide her and trust her judgment, but she makes her own choices."
Sami teased her followers on Instagram by wearing the lingerie.
