A Man With the 'World's Smallest Penis' Gets Enough Money From GoFundMe To Give His 0.38 Inch Member A Growth Spurt

In the connected world of the internet, countless individuals share their personal stories and seek assistance for challenges that might otherwise remain private.

Strangers from around the globe often step in to provide financial or emotional support for everything from medical treatments to creative dreams, creating unexpected communities of generosity.

One of the most popular platforms for this kind of fundraising is GoFundMe. It has become a go-to destination online where people launch campaigns to raise money for a wide range of reasons. These include covering medical bills, supporting recovery from disasters, funding education, or helping with other personal needs.

What makes the site stand out is how it accommodates even the most unique and highly personal causes, allowing organizers to share detailed stories and receive donations from those who feel moved to help. Among the many medical conditions that affect daily life, some involve variations in physical development that receive less public attention.

And micropenis is one such condition.

Michael Phillips has publicly shared his diagnosis of micropenis measuring 0.38 inches when erect

Michael Phillips, a 38-year-old man from the Carolinas, has publicly shared his experience with a medically diagnosed micropenis.

This is condition when a penis measures significantly smaller than average for a person's age, typically defined as a stretched length more than 2.5 standard deviations below the mean.

In adults, this often means a stretched length of roughly 2.67 inches (67.8 millimeters) or less, though exact thresholds can vary slightly by measurement standards.

The condition usually stems from insufficient testosterone or other androgen activity during critical stages of fetal development, particularly after the first trimester when the penis forms and continues to grow.

Underlying factors can include problems with the hypothalamus or pituitary gland that disrupt hormone signals, primary testicular issues, certain genetic variations, or in some cases no clear identifiable cause.

Having a micropenis can create practical difficulties such as challenges with standing to urinate, which may require adaptive strategies or protective undergarments. It can also influence sexual function, body image, confidence in social or intimate settings, and overall quality of life, though many individuals adapt successfully and some pursue medical options like hormone therapy in childhood or enhancement procedures later in life.

As for Phillips, as first reported by TMZ, he describes his erect length as measuring 0.38 inches (9.65 millimeters), which he has compared to the size of his pinky fingernail.

This has led to ongoing issues with urination that require the use of pull-ups, along with effects on his confidence and independence, especially during travel. Earlier this year he launched a GoFundMe campaign seeking funds for an enhancement procedure aimed at increasing girth through semi-permanent dermal filler injections.

The campaign raised more than $13,000 from hundreds of donors.

After initially considering surgery but deciding against it due to potential risks such as loss of sensation or erectile function, he opted for the filler approach instead.

A Beverly Hills doctor offered to perform a similar treatment free of charge, yet Phillips chose a local option closer to home.

He has now scheduled the appointment for August 17 with a doctor in Charlotte, North Carolina. The procedure itself is expected to cost nearly $4,000, with additional funds covering related fees, follow-up care, and prescriptions.

Phillips has expressed gratitude for the support and excitement about the upcoming appointment, viewing it as a step toward greater comfort and normalcy in everyday activities.
